The recertification assessments are paid online activities that include:
- Self-paced training on the changes made to the recommended training over the last two releases
- An online test
Notes:
- You must complete the self-paced training and pass the online test.
- The cost of the recertification assessment will vary. The fee entitles you to three test attempts. If you require more attempts, you must pay for the recertification assessment again.
- Recertification assessments will not be available for new exams.
- Recertification assessments will be available after at least 2 versions of an exam have been released.
- A limited number of recertification assessments will be available starting on July 15, 2026. On July 15, 2026, the following exams will have recertification assessments:
- NSE 4 FortiOS Administrator
- NSE 5 Secure Wireless LAN Administrator
- NSE 7 Network Security Architect
- NSE 7 SASE Architect
- NSE 7 Cloud Security Architect
More recertification assessments will be added in 2026 and 2027. If a recertification assessment is not available for an exam, you must pass the next version of the proctored exam or pass a different exam to recertify.
