NSE Certification Program Notice - Changes to Exam Fees

Exam fee change for NSE and Industry certification exams effective November 2, 2026.

Beginning November 2, 2026, the Fortinet Training Institute will adjust fees for all exams in the NSE program. Exam fees for NSE exams, NSE recertification assessments, and the Industry certification exams will be updated as follows:

• NSE 4-6 exams $210*
• NSE 4-6 recertification assessments $210*
• NSE 7 exams $420*
• NSE 7 recertification assessments $420*
• NSE 8 Recertification exam $420*
• NSE 8 Practical exams $840*

Until November 2nd, all candidates can continue to register for NSE exams at the current prices: $200* for NSE 4-7, including the new Industry certification exams, and $400* for the NSE 8 Recertification exam.

On July 15, 2026, Recertification Assessments were introduced and priced as follows: $200* for NSE 4-7, and Industry certifications until November 2nd. For more information about recertification assessments, see What are the recertification assessments?

Vouchers purchased for exams delivered by Pearson cannot be used for recertification assessments. Vouchers purchased for Recertification Assessments cannot be used for Pearson proctored exams.
