Effective July 15, 2026, the following changes will be introduced to the NSE 8 certification:
- The certification expiration period will change from 3 years to 2 years for any certification achieved or renewed after July 15, 2026. The expiration date of the existing certification will not change.
- Achieving or renewing an NSE 8 certification requires having an active NSE 4 certification, active NSE 5 or NSE 6, and NSE 7 certification in the same track by the date the NSE 8 certification is achieved or renewed.
- Renewing or maintaining an active NSE 8 requires the accumulation of 200 recertification points every 2 years.
