The time required to prepare for any level of NSE certification depends on the candidate. Depending on the candidate’s level of experience and aptitude, the amount of time they spend preparing and studying will vary.
Candidates can potentially complete the lower levels of the program (NSE 1, NSE 2 and NSE 3) quickly. The mid-level to upper-level technical certifications (NSE 4, NSE 5, NSE 6 and NSE 7) require a greater investment of time and resources. Formal training is recommended. NSE 8 certifcation is the expert-level certification. It is composed of both a written component and a practical assessment component, and is intended for very experienced technical professionals only. Depending on the candidate’s experience, the NSE 8 certification can require many months of preparation.
