What options will I have to renew certifications?

The options for renewing an active certification are listed below. Completing any of these options suffices to renew the certification, provided that all prerequisite requirements are also met.

NSE 1	Complete the NSE 1 course. Achieve or renew any NSE 1 to NSE 7 certification. Pass any NSE 8 practical exam.	None
NSE 2	Complete the NSE 2 course. Achieve or renew any NSE 2 to NSE 7 certification. Pass any NSE 8 practical exam.	None
NSE 3	Complete the NSE 3 course and pass the online NSE 3 exam. Achieve or renew any NSE 4 to NSE 7 certification. Pass any NSE 8 practical exam.	None
NSE 4	Pass the next version of the NSE 4 FortiOS exam. Complete the online NSE 4 recertification assessment if you passed one NSE 4 exam no more than 2 years ago. Achieve or renew an NSE 7 certification. Pass any NSE 8 practical exam.	None
NSE 5	Pass an NSE 5 exam in the same track. Complete the online NSE 5 recertification assessment (if available) for an NSE 5 exam in the same track you passed, provided the exam is not more than 2 years old. Achieve or renew the NSE 7 certification in the same track. Pass any NSE 8 practical exam.	An active NSE 4 certification. If any of the actions on the left are completed without an active NSE 4 certification, the NSE 5 certification is not issued until an active NSE 4 certification is issued. In this scenario, the NSE 4 certification must be issued within 2 years of completing the NSE 5 exam.
NSE 6	Pass an NSE 6 exam in the same track. Complete the online NSE 6 recertification assessment (if available) for an NSE 6 exam in the same track you passed, provided the exam is not more than two years old. Achieve or renew the NSE 7 certification in the same track. Pass any NSE 8 practical exam.	An active NSE 4 certification. If any of the actions on the left are completed without an active NSE 4 certification, the NSE 6 certification is not issued until an active NSE 4 certification is issued. In this scenario, the NSE 4 certification must be issued within 2 years of completing the NSE 6 exam.
NSE 7	Pass the next version of the NSE 7 exam in the same track. Complete the online NSE 7 recertification assessment (if available) for the NSE 7 exam in the same track you passed, provided the exam is not more than two years old. Pass any NSE 8 practical exam.	An active NSE 4 certification and one active NSE 5 or NSE 6 certification in the same track. If any of the actions on the left are completed without these requisites, the NSE 7 certification is not issued until the requisites are completed. In this scenario, all the requisites must be completed within 2 years of completing the NSE 7 exam.
NSE 8	Complete 200 certification points.	An active NSE 4, NSE 5 or NSE 6, and NSE 7 certification (same track as NSE 5 or NSE 6) by the date the NSE 8 certification is renewed
Industry Certifications	Pass the next version of the respective exam. Complete the respective recertification assessment (if available) if the exam is no more than 2 years old.	An active NSE 4, NSE 5 or NSE 6, and NSE 7 certification (same track as NSE 5 or NSE 6). If any of the actions on the left are completed without these requisites, the industry certification is not issued until the requisites are completed. In this scenario, all the requisites must be completed within 2 years of completing the industry certification exam.
