ATC Lab Access on the Fortinet Training Institute Portal

The Fortinet Certified Trainers (FCTs) can access the Instructor courses page. This page shows all their upcoming and archived training sessions. To access the Instructor courses page:

1. Log in to the Fortinet Training Institute portal
2. Display the left-hand menu
3. Click Instructor courses

The Instructor Courses tab is not automatically displayed for ATC administrators or purchasers. To request access to this feature, the ATC must download and complete the form, found on the Fortinet Training Institute website in the Fortinet Training Institute Labs section. Send the completed form to atc@fortinet.com. 

Once the ATC lab is purchased through the Gilmore store (see ATC Lab Rental Ordering on Gilmore Global), the FCT and the ATC purchaser will receive the following Lab Confirmation email. 

Use the information in the email to instruct the students on "how to access" the lab using the course link and the enrollment key. This process for students resumes as follows:

1. Log in to their Fortinet Training Institute portal account. If students don't have an account, they need to create one.
2. Click the course link provided by the FCT when the course starts.
3. Enter the enrollment key provided by the FCT when the course starts, and then click Enrol.

Reminder:

• FCTs can download the course materials from their Fortinet Training Institute dashboard. Depending on their FCT status, they may be able to access the instructor materials at Fortinet Authorized Training Center (ATC) - Trainer Resources. 
• When a new version of a course is released, we suggest the FCTs watch the Train the Trainer (TTT) videos before delivering the training. 
• ATCs do not need to purchase lab access for their trainer when delivering instructor-led sessions. However, lab access should be purchased to allow the trainer additional time to ramp up.
• ATC Lab rental, student guides, and exam vouchers must be purchased at Gilmore: https://fortinet.gilmoreglobal.com/. For any issues with your order, contact the Gilmore orders team: fortinetorders@gilmore.ca.
