How do I schedule my NSE 8 practical exams?

The NSE 8 Core practical exam will only be available onsite at selected Fortinet offices and Fortinet events, such as Accelerate and selected regional Xperts events, based on the planned event agenda. The NSE 8 Elective practical exams will be available both onsite and online through ProctorU.

You can attempt the NSE 8 practical exams only after you've completed all the required prerequisites. For more information, see What are the NSE 8 certification requirements and prerequisites?

Before scheduling the exam(s), you must purchase your NSE 8 practical exam voucher(s) through Fortinet Resellers, Authorized Training Centers, or via credit card in the Fortinet Training Institute portal. We recommend that you purchase the NSE 8 Elective practical exam voucher only after passing the NSE 8 Core practical exam.

To initiate the NSE 8 practical exams scheduling process:

NSE 8 Core/Elective Practical Exam Onsite

1. Log in to the Fortinet Training Institute helpdesk portal. For more information, see How to log in to the Helpdesk as a Customer or Partner for support?
2. Identify your desired NSE 8 Practical exam session on the Fortinet Training Institute schedule page.
3. Redeem your NSE 8 Practical exam voucher according to How do I redeem my Fortinet instructor-led training or NSE 8 onsite practical exam voucher? .

NSE 8 Elective Practical Exam Online

1. Log in to the Fortinet Training Institute helpdesk portal. For more information, see How to log in to the Helpdesk as a Customer or Partner for support?
2. Click Submit a ticket.
3. Complete the form as follows and then click Submit.

Candidates must provide the following information to ensure the best possible experience:

• Business email address (if the training account is using a generic email address)
• Country of residence
• Mobile phone number

If a candidate’s records are incomplete or inconsistent, additional information may be requested to validate the candidate’s identity and relationship with Fortinet.

If you are eligible to schedule the NSE 8 elective practical exam, Fortinet will initiate the scheduling process for you, and you will receive two (2) emails from ProctorU for you to schedule your exam using their scheduling application.
